Broughton in Furness is 30 miles from Junction 36 of the M6 and the journey takes about 45 minutes
Directions:
Exit the M6 at Junction 36 and follow the A590 for about 20 miles
At Greenodd turn Right onto the A5092 (there is a garage on the A5092 at the turning)
Follow this road for about 10 miles (Note: The 5092 becomes the A595 at Grizebeck)
When you pass Foxfield railway station you are getting close and you can see The High Cross Inn across the valley on the top of the hill
Continue and as you get to the top of the next hill The High Cross Inn is directly in front of you
Turn Right and then immediately Left (A593 to Coniston) and our large car park is on your left
