These five words most accurately describe the eating/dining experience at The High Cross Inn. Whether you are looking for a quick bite at lunch or a more relaxed dining experience, we guarantee good food in friendly, comfortable surroundings, in either the cosy bar, traditional stone walled restaurant, or the conservatory restaurant overlooking the Duddon Valley (The only time that the comfort may be called into question is if you choose to take advantage of one of our packed lunches on the Cumbrian Fells in the changeable Lake District weather). We strive to offer something for everyone throughout the day, from sandwiches and afternoon teas, to high tea and evening meals. Should you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform us and we will be delighted to cater for your needs.
To complement our diverse menu we also have an extensive list of wines and a developing list of Real Ales, Lagers and (coming soon) continental beers for you to choose from to enjoy with your meal.
